Problem Solved!

The problem: drunk dialing. The solution: LG's new phone with a built in sobriety test.

This is not joke; now being manufactured and tested in Korea, the new phone by LG has sold over 200,000 in Korea and is very popular with the younger crowd. There is a small hole in the side of the phone that you can blow into. If the phone indicated you are over the legal limit of 0.08, an animation of a car swerving into a cone poops up and tells you it’s not safe to drive. How cool is that? But not only does it help prevent drunk driving; it also helps prevent drunk dialing. The phone has features that allow you to program it to not let you call certain numbers when you have had too much to drink. The only major problem I see with this is if you are too drunk and forget to take the breathalyzer. Then the phone will still be working as normal and you could easily call everyone from your ex to your grandmother without the phone ever knowing! This is the problem with technology, as smart as it is, stupid people can still outsmart it! Keep your eyes peeled for this new invention and the technology which will probably hit the US shortly. If you have a great invention or idea that you want me to blog about e-mail me! ~ Danni
