Cha-Ching!  Hey bloggers, do you hear the cash registers ringing up all those "green" sales?  Here's another new invention that capitalizes on the green-friendly, earth-friendly frenzy.

Aptly named "The Growing Chair" this little beauty makes it easy to grow saplings into living outdoor furniture. This is another example of putting a creative twist on an existing product. Some clever person combined outdoor furniture with the idea of planting and saving trees. Tree furniture is not a new concept, but someone invented this "mold" that guides the shape in which the saplings grow. A clever person took an existing simple idea and created a product that would make it easy for the average ("non-nursery" person) to grow. The idea started as a concept and a prototype was created and marketed to retailers.

It is said much of the ocean's depths have yet to be explored around the world, and submersible vehicles like the Aqua concept from Yanko Design Studios will definitely help us map out a larger portion of undiscovered territory. (Sadly, it won't help me map out the back of my closet or the bottom of my purse) There are only so many skyscrapers one can build, so who knows - we might end up living underwater in the future instead of the moon. This single occupancy craft is able to sail on and under water using existing standard submersible technology like air to control buoyancy. Aqua also takes a page out of the dolphins' book, featuring a similar aerodynamic form factor that lets you get around without all the drag. Enforcing traffic rules when underwater (and in space) would be pretty hard to do though... and I bet I'd still get a speeding ticket. Curse you AquaPolice!!
