Man Bras... That's Right Folks, Man Bras

Remember the Seinfeld episode about man-bras (bros)? I'm trying to forget it. But man-bras actually do exist, and here they are. Made by Japanese underwearier Wish Room, each man-bra promises support where you need it most. I hasd a boyfriend who liked to try on my bras while I was in the shower: He liked to put on a little makeup too. Just foundation, eyeliner, mascara, blush, and lipstick -- nothing crazy.

Thanks to Paul who pointed me to these and who I think would look dead sexy in one. And also, stilettos.

I think it's a pretty clever idea. If you have a clever idea too and you'd like me to blog about please e-mail it to me. And as always, if you're a budding inventor yourself and need more info on prototypes or how to sell your ideas click here!

Gadget Brando 5 LED Cap Light

by danni 11/20/2008 10:51:00 AM

Without further ado, I present the Gadget Brando 5 LED Cap Light, an approximately 3.5" long x 2" wide x 0.5" deep five LED bar which clips to the underside of a cap's brim.

Two Lithium CR2032 cells are included, and once installed the light bar will be powered on or off by pressing the small button to the left of the battery compartment.

When turned on, the five LEDs glow with an extremely bright white light. It is enough to illuminate a safe walking path in front of the wearer, or to put a spotlight on whatever project the wearer is working.

Attaching the light bar to the brim of a cap is accomplished by sliding the two plastic clips over the bill's edge.

Once installed, the light bar peeks from underneath. This is the part of the review where I should mention that if you are the finicky type that has to get your brim creased just so, then this product may undo a little bit of what you have worked so hard to achieve. However, the pay off is that for a slightly less creased brim the user will get bright illumination for walking, hiking, or working in a dark area.

I could have really used this product back when I was looking for my way out of that Haunted Mansion on Halloween.

The Gadget Brando 5 LED Cap light is a clever solution for those that need an extra hand when working alone. It's not quite as obvious as a full head lamp, and it is more powerful than a small clip-on. As an added bonus, the clip on light can be removed and held when a hand held flashlight is desired. I think it's a pretty clever idea. If you have a clever idea too and you'd like me to blog about please e-mail it to me. All in One "Walk of Shame" Tool

by danni 11/11/2008 5:57:00 AM

The dreaded walk of shame from late night sleepovers or when you woke up in the wrong dorm is a rite of passage for many college students these days. Now, some GENIUS invented this little swiss-armyesque tool set with almost everything (aside from a change of clothes) you need to get home without looking too 'under the weather'. It comes complete with a comb, eyes lash separator, toothbrush, and corkscrew (in case another glass of wine will somehow help) and mini eye shadow brush. Honestly, I’m kinda bummed this wasn't available when I was in college. And it would be a great holiday gift! It's relatively inexpensive, definitely useful and hilarious all in one! It's the trifecta of sorority girl presents!

And don't forget- if you come across a stellar invention that you want me to blog about please e-mail it to me. And as always, if you're a budding inventor yourself and need more info on prototypes or how to sell your ideas click here!

For the Perfect Cup of Tea

by danni 11/11/2008 5:43:00 AM

This is a super fun and very cute kitchen gizmo for all the tea lovers! This tea timer not only dips the tea bag in your cup of hot water, it times exactly how long it needs to be in the water for a perfectly steeped cup of tea. This stylish little gadget is available for sale online and since I'm a tea lover I will definitely add this to my holiday wish list. The cutest part is how it holds the tea bag on its beak at the perfect angle for dipping into the water. If you have a comment or question e-mail me. And don't forget- if you want to learn how to get a prototype of your invention made this link can show you how. Have fun!

Easy Access Jeans...

by danni 11/6/2008 12:31:00 PM

If you've ever stood in line at an amusement park behind a series of teenage couples this scenario will seem all too familiar. The boy, sporting long greasy hair held under a beanie, a dirty white t-shirt and hole-ridden jeans is attempting to grope the buttocks of his girlfriend who is standing next to him (In extremely close proximity). His arm is crooked at an uncomfortable angle in order to get maximum grippage on her lower backside region and his hand is jammed into her back jeans pocket. Now, some genius has invented a pair of jeans with an angled pocket to accommodate such access. Congratulations to every "bad boy" teenager out there- you're girlfriend's next holiday, b-day and Valentine's present is already in the bag- or pocket, so to speak. If you have an equally enthralling invention please, by all means, let me know! And if you need help getting your idea from the laundry room to the store room click here.~ Danni

Problem Solved!

by danni 11/5/2008 6:05:00 AM

The problem: drunk dialing. The solution: LG's new phone with a built in sobriety test.

This is not joke; now being manufactured and tested in Korea, the new phone by LG has sold over 200,000 in Korea and is very popular with the younger crowd. There is a small hole in the side of the phone that you can blow into. If the phone indicated you are over the legal limit of 0.08, an animation of a car swerving into a cone poops up and tells you it’s not safe to drive. How cool is that? But not only does it help prevent drunk driving; it also helps prevent drunk dialing. The phone has features that allow you to program it to not let you call certain numbers when you have had too much to drink. The only major problem I see with this is if you are too drunk and forget to take the breathalyzer. Then the phone will still be working as normal and you could easily call everyone from your ex to your grandmother without the phone ever knowing! This is the problem with technology, as smart as it is, stupid people can still outsmart it! Keep your eyes peeled for this new invention and the technology which will probably hit the US shortly.
